DeVé

DeVé is a talented young woman who provided her silken vocals to a few of Quicksilver Night Productions earlier projects over a decade ago. These included singing Dream Sequence Gunmen’s licensed cover of Joan Baez’s “Diamonds and Rust” and Quicksilver Night’s 2012 single “Buffalo Head” that was later remastered and released on Quicksilver Night’s 2018 “Symmetry” album. Now “back in town”, as they say, we’re preparing to release a couple of new singles from Quicksilver Night in 2025 that will showcase her amazing vocals.

From Virginia Beach, DeVé is happily married to an active-duty US Navy Sailor who’s currently assigned to Naval Station Norfolk (VA) and they have a beautiful daughter together.

Scheduled for release this summer, this is the thumbnail album art for Quicksilver Night’s forthcoming “Rocket Surgery” digital single featuring the amazing vocals of DeVé. With its swing rhythms and quartal harmonies, “Rocket Surgery” leans heavily towards the jazz end of the musical spectrum. The lyrical story outlines an adult woman’s pointed advice to her paramour – a little flirtatious, a little sarcastic – about how to better treat her (as in “It’s not rocket surgery…”). DeVé sings it with conviction and class during rehearsal and I’m sure many of you will absolutely love it!
